Features



The ADBOND 400 is a Construction and Sub-Floor Adhesive that provides excellent adhesion and extrusion in all weather conditions. It offers fast grab and high ultimate bond to wet, frozen and treated lumber.

USES:

  • Bonding all wood to wood assemblies; dry, wet or frozen

LIMITATION:

  • ADBOND 400 is not designed for continuous submersion or for use on polystyrene foams.


STORAGE:

Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature, preferably at 75°F. For fast, easy application product should be kept at room temperature for 24 hours prior to use.

COVERAGE:

28 oz. cartridge:
- 1/8 bead - approx. 355 lin. ft.
- 1/4 bead - approx. 89 lin. ft.
- 3/8 bead - approx. 39 lin. ft.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Cartridge/caulking gun.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:

All surfaces must be free of standing water, snow, dirt, mud, oil and other foreign materials. Apply ADBOND 400 adhesive to each piece of furring, studs or floor joints to be covered. When bonding subfloors or wet, frozen and treated lumber, nail or screw each sheet as recommended by the Plywood Association. by extrusion, either from cartridge or by automatic extrusion equipment. Be sure to cut spout to desired bead size and puncture seal in cartridge before using.

Working time: Approx 20-30 minutes for a 1/4 bead.

CLEAN UP:

Scrape off dried excess with a putty knife. Remove residue with mineral spirits of equivalent solvent. Follow vendors precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent on an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar attack the surface.
NOTE: Adequate ventilation must be provided when used in all interior applications.
